Proper Installation and Adjustment
• Appropriate Installation Tension: When installing the guide belt, adjust the tension according to the equipment instruction manual. Excessive tension can easily cause the guide belt to wear, stretch or even break; while insufficient tension will lead to the slipping of the guide belt, affecting the ironing effect and accelerating wear.
• Adjust the Module Position: Ensure that the guide belt adjustment module is in an appropriate position, generally in the middle or slightly above it. This prevents the guide belt from being unevenly stressed and damaged due to the too-high position of the module.
Daily Use and Maintenance
• Avoid Overload Operation: Operate the ironing machine strictly according to its rated load. Overloading will make the guide belt bear excessive pressure and friction, accelerating its aging and wear.
• Keep Clean: Regularly clean the dust, fiber scraps and other debris on the surface of the guide belt to prevent them from entering the contact area between the guide belt and the ironing machine, so as to avoid causing wear.
• Inspect and Clean the Rollers: Frequently check the guide belt rollers, and clean the dirt and adhesions on the surface in a timely manner to ensure that the rollers rotate flexibly and reduce the wear on the guide belt.
• Prevent Foreign Objects from Scratching: Prevent sharp foreign objects from coming into contact with the guide belt during operation to avoid scratching, which will affect its service life.
Regular Inspection and Maintenance
• Regular Inspection: Arrange a dedicated person to regularly check the wear, stretching, cracks and other conditions of the guide belt, and deal with problems in a timely manner or replace the guide belt if necessary.
• Lubrication Maintenance: Regularly lubricate the guide belt and related components according to the requirements of the equipment. Select suitable lubricants, which can reduce friction and extend the service life.
• Replace Worn Parts in a Timely Manner: For easily worn parts such as guide wheels and connectors that cooperate with the guide belt, replace them in time when wear is found to ensure the normal operation of the guide belt.
