When using a PVC conveyor belt, you will find that its working surface is covered with a layer of glue. This cover glue is the protective layer of the core material of the conveyor belt, but we need to deal with it in time when the cover is on the rubber spike. It is rough as follows.
1. According to the broken state of the cover glue, it can be repaired in a round or diamond shape. Along the damaged contour, at least 15~20mm larger than the surrounding area, draw a cutting repair line, cut at a 45o angle, and peel off the damaged cover glue. Pay attention when cutting Don't damage the fabric layer below.
2. Prepare to repair the film, the size is consistent with the cut surface, and the thickness is the same as the original cover glue (if the thickness is not enough, multi-layer bonding) is cut into oblique openings (cured film for cold bonding, unvulcanized for hot bonding) film.
3. Hair the repaired area and the patch, remove the glue debris, clean it, and apply the glue on the repaired area and the patch at least twice, and dry it sufficiently.
4. Laminate the repair film and fully roll it firmly. Use a knife to gently cut the excess rubber edge around it and smooth it.
Do a good job in repairing the damage of the PVC conveyor belt working surface covering rubber, protect the PVC conveyor belt, and extend its service life as much as possible.
